Shahin Moslehi BSc ND, DHMHS
Shahin’s journey towards Naturopathic Medicine comes from years of being an active participant in his own healing process. At a young age of 14, he was diagnosed with RP (Retinitis Pigmentosa), a rare retinal condition, which can lead to blindness. This had only furthered Shahin’s ambition to follow his goals and dreams, which eventually lead him to playing competitive soccer at the highest level (provincially and also nationally), with the hopes of completing his Bachelor degree in the United States in Illinois where he was the recipient of a Soccer Scholarship. For Shahin, this is where he believed his life was heading, but just before pursing this path, he began losing his sight as well as being diagnosed with IBD. This turning point in his life changed everything. For the next ten years, Shahin choose to continue his education and began to understand the challenges one goes through when on a path towards health and healing. After coming to realize the blessings of being able to be helped and healed by other Doctors, particularly while in India, Shahin found his new purpose in life. He vowed to dedicate the rest of his life to serving others so that they can begin their journey towards healing and cure.
This new purpose in life, helped him complete his education, where he received an Honours Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in 2010. That same year, Shahin had began his current pursuit of completing an intensive 4-year post-graduate diploma in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Moslehi ND completed an clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic while also pursuing his Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine (DHMHS) at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.
Shahin’s passion for sports and continued enthusiasm for physical activity will hopefully be translated into also serving those who wish to use Naturopathic modalities and homeopathic medicine to further their skills and training.
